Is this Safari, or another browser? This error usually indicates they clicked "Deny" at some point, perhaps accidentally. Many browsers will remember that and refuse further attempts. In some browsers, it gets reset if you close the window. In others, you may need to visit the browser settings and explicitly allow permission.

Grant Forrest: this was in chrome. We believe it was an OS permission error because the same error appeared in Google meet when trying to screenshare. I think it is fair to close this bug.

Hey Thibaut! It seems Big Sur has indeed introduced some issues with WebRTC on Big Sur, that we are investigating right now. Thanks for letting us know!
