Animate characters with video

I’d like to keep my video on because I find it helpful to give certain visual clues during conversations. However, having video on all the time is a bit stressful and overwhelming as I'm constantly aware of what I’m broadcasting. It’d be great if I could instead animate the characters either manually (indicate some reaction like thumbs up, nod, shake, laugh, etc.) or with based on video (similar to Animoji).

Yes, we definitely have plans around this. We have some prototypes that are promising, unfortunately running machine learning on the video feed locally is a little CPU / GPU intensive so we are still exploring. In the meantime, having your avatar react to your status is probably a good start :)
